Charlie’s angels is based on the popular TV series of the 70’s.But the movie is a far cry from the original stuff.Nowadays they rely more on the F/X team to pull the movie through.So, the angels played by CAMERON DIAZ, DREW BARRYMORE AND LUCY LIU are good casting choices.All three of them exude that sexiness which can instantly turn deadly.The opening sequence is absolutely inspired from Bond movies and sets the pace for the movie and tell you that there is more of this stuff to follow.The story is inconsequential but I should say the action scenes are very well choreographed, especially the Matrix type fights and the kicks that these lethal ladies deliver to different parts of the male anatomy.the plot is wafer thin and there is nothing to say.Even a cretin will be able to understand that this is a battle between good and evil.The impromptu dance done by Cameron Diaz is just superb.Drew Barrymore is worldlywise and innocent at the same time and Lucy Liu is just too good.Definitely there will be a sequel to this one.
