Full Throttle - No Brakes

This is the review of the sequel of the highly sucessful and popular Charlie’s Angels.

I just saw this movie yesterday, the last show and even today morning I am in an adrenaline rush. The movie starts of with the 3 angels pulling of a rescue mission in Mongolia and ends with the 3 triumphing over evil in the end. And in between the movie is NON STOP ACTION.

The story goes like a former angel turned bad (Demi Moore) wants to get hold of 2 platinum rings that have encrypted data about the people who are under witness protection program and the 3 goody goody angels (Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu) must stop her.

Well that in short is the story, interspersed with some high fi action sequences (the Mongolia escape, the fight in the docks, the dirt bike racing) phew I am tired writing all this

Well let’s take the movie part by part:

1) The angels – all 3 sexy, butt-kicking babes (Cameron, Drew and Lucy) are in top form not acting but just enjoying themselves. The movie hardly calls for any acting skills its, slam bang biff buff all the way. And Demi Moore makes a come back (looks absolutely stunning especially the introduction scene in a bikini…drool, drool). The supporting cast is ok (I hardly noticed anyone other than these 4 but the track between Lucy Liu’s guy and her father was fun. Bruce Willis is in a 2 minute role ( looking haggard)

2) The action – the stunts come at you from all directions, never ever ending. The stunts are good, slow motion camera work enhancing the action. The stunt director is the hero here.

3) The music – absolutely rocking. Using rock music including the prodigy soundtrack rocks some of the action scenes and the music is a definite plus for the movie.

4) The director – with a name like Mcg (?), this guy gives us barely time to think or relax in the movie…so fast is the action, so relentless is pace, so quick is the editing that the audience is going wow what’s happening here?

Well summing it up this movie rocks. Keep your thinking caps aside, go in with expectations for a fast, deadly, pacy action flick and believe me, you will come out saying this was good fun.

Overall an out and out action flick that keeps you entertained for 2 hours. Full Throttle ahead……

Ps- the action was so fast , I felt there should have been seat belts provided on the seats :- )
