Was it the Chad

Wow, what can I say? This had everything to get your blood pumping. Fast flowing, frantic, explosive, all out action. One really had to wonder how the re-vamp of the 70’s classic would fair in the modern world. The answer was a resounding, ’Very Well’.

What really made this film a must see really had to be the cast of Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, all accompanied by resident funny men Bill Murray and MTV crazy man Tom Green. One could really sense the chemistry between Ms Barrymore and ’The Chad’ every time they were on set together.

However, despite having her boyfriend on stage with her, there certainly was no spark taken out of Drew Barrymore’s performance. One would have forgiven her for declining to par-take in some slightly raunchy scenes. However, thankfully, she did not and the male audience really benefited. Perhaps for me the most stunning site was a cross between Ms Barrymore tumbling down the side of a hill completely naked and when she was in her pits outfit.

Now I feel I must divert my concentration more toward the film. This had some spectacular action scenes with high-energy explosive stunts. The choreography on the fight scenes was also spectacular in the least and very clever to boot. With the fight scenes being slowed down and the camera angles being moved around, the filming really gave the film a touch of ‘The Matrix’ class when it came to fighting. Also, with the likes of Prodigy playing away in the background, the soundtrack really had potential to be one of the best soundtracks ever.

It was not just the fight scenes and the gorgeous girls, which enlightened this film. One also has to consider the story line to. You may have expected the directors to really on the beautiful girls and timely explosions but the story line really held its own to. It wasn’t just about skimpy outfits and catching the bad guys. It also had a plot, and quite a clever one at that. I approached the film expecting a straightforward story, and left thinking how clever it really was. Instead of the Angels having to find and capture the one evil baddie, they soon found that the baddie was in-fact there own client. However, I shall not ruin the film for you.

Anybody who has not yet seen the film really doesn’t know what he or she are missing out on. It is an exciting film and keeps the audience captivated at all times. With some spectacular special effects and creative fighting stunts, all accompanied with a superb soundtrack and beautiful ladies, this really is one of the films of the year. A must see film which you may undoubtedly watch again.
