Chef is a remake of same named Hollywood movie. This is slow movie and falls somewhere between average and good movie.
Story is good but somehow director Raja Menon was unable to hold you in your chair like how beautifully he has done it in his last directed movie Airlift.
Saif Ali Khan acting is good but he looks overweight in the film. Padmapriya is impressive and acted so well in the movie to justify the role she is playing.
Cinematographer Priya Seth has captured beauty of Kerala nicely in the movie.
Average direction and slow speed of the movie is somehow reducing impact of good acting, good cinematography and good story line.
If you like Hindi masala movie then this movie is not for you.
