Venkat prabhu’s much anticipated venture(reunion) was released on dec 9 2016. Produced by SPB Charan and music composed by U1. As Chennai 28 was a nicely crafted mix of entertainment, love, emotion, the 2nd innings hit the screens with much expectation. Once again VP proved himself as an excellent captain of the chennai sharks. Movie starts with the narration of what happened in the past 8 years during which everyone of the sharks team got married and retired from cricket. Unexpected series of events lead them to form the team again, after which thing unfold in a funny and emotional manner and ends good. Performance of every player of the sharks team is consistent. Vaibav(maruthu pandi) gets the man of the match award because of his excellent performance. U1 has done an excellent job in songs and especially in bgm(No doubt he is the BGM KING).Screenplay and cinematography is good.Movie ending makes me feel that its not a sixer, but definitely a boundary. Overall this match is worth your money!
