I recently engaged Chennai Packers & Movers to shift my household & car from chennai to Madhya pradesh. I want to share my wonderful experience with all! The person who came to do the estimation promised many things.. The materials will reach within 6 days. They will collect (packing & loading) & deliver(unloading & unpacking).
They came with a team on 9th July and did the packing and loading into their covered truck with the Chennai packers & movers Logo etc., .. It looks like what you see in the movies..But the happy feeling stops there! We reached Indore and waited and waited for our stuff to come..So many phone calls with different answers...one time they say its moving through Hyderabad..
After 2 days someone says they will load it today Sir! They keep giving answers which are controversial. Finally on the 22nd of July it arrived and we were in for a rude shock! the material was sent in a truck which also had a big load of batteries..The truck was not belonging to the company. It was one of many trucks which pass through Chennai.
My washing machine has become a total write off..(broken in many places)..The truck driver had no clue and no connection with the packers & movers.. There was nobody to unload so we had to run around to find help to do the same. My car took another 2 weeks to reach, again putting us in so much tension..What I have come to know from this... These guys are not what they claim to be in their website..They are just common touts who catch orders for the trucks..
So please.. anyone who reads this...don’t ever engage Chennai Packers & movers if you are shifting from state to state. They are the worst, they have no decency when you call them...You can name them as Chennai Cheaters & Liars! If this forum allows me write abusive language I will use all the bad words in english to describe them..
If only I had the time and patience to sue these guys I would do it..
