I live in Chennai for more than 20 years. I like this place, sorry, I love this place. Even though it is hot it is still a liveable city. The best place to visit chennai is ECR which is explanded as East Coast Road. It has many resorts, discos, hotels, theme parks, etc.
The only thing I hate about chennai is the Auto wallah’s (auto drivers). In my opinion they are worsest creatures in this whole world. Most of the auto drivers in chennai would be school drop-outs or no-schoolers. They dont know how to behave with the passengers. They demand (notice demand not request) more money from the passengers even for a short distance travel.
If you are a stranger to Chennai and happen to travel in Auto’s, then you are finished, they will misuse your non-knowledge of the city and will rip you across by demanding more money, etc. If you take a survey most of the city’s rowdy’s, dada’s would be auto drivers. They dont know the traffic rules. They dont care for other people driving in the road. They have their own rules on chennai roads.
IN MY OPINION THEY ARE THE WORST DRIVERS IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
