No Fine but a bribe for undone mistake

Yesterday on Sunday I was stopped by cop with a mob of police jeep, 7 to 8 police men working very sincerely and plannedly for getting bribes.

I was stopped for no reason. I have just overtaken a Muncipality lorry carrying waste which is going by a speed of 30 kilometers. Immediate to the overtaking with in 20 feet a expert police man stopped me and said I was driving by a speed of 60 Kms thats not at all possible in Vysarbadi road, Chennai towards railway underbridge behind a muncipality truck.

Two police men in conservation in front me.

police man (A): asked the police man who stopped me. What is the default and the reply is I was driving with a speed of 49 Kms. He was such an expert that his eyes work exactly like a speed identifying machine.

police man (B) : the fine amount is 500

and A was filling the fine form. Immediately B, OK OK let it not consider he will give 200 Rs. I was a shameless fellow in urgency to meet my friend who came from pune for inviting his marriage and lack of no time bargained and bribed Rs. 50.

I was felt a lot after bribing and got a thought that, in future if I get caught it is better to pay the fine amount even if the fine is for an uncommitted mistake which will go for the government (public) instead of bribing for a police.

The points I remember to safely pay the fine amount.

Get the receipt of fine charge with specification of bike, venue of court to collect the bike after the fine payment.

But no police man encourages this since he has to carry the bike to court that was a burden for him

Assume if all the caught men does like the same thing for traffic police, the possibility of carrying all the bikes to court.

Moreover Fines are payable only at mobile courts and other courts.
