I’ve been a user of Chequemail since the time it started funcitioning.
Initially it gave a lot of problems but the services have improved a
lot lately. The concept of sharing ad money is really good and they
seem to have kept their word on it.
I myself along with quite a few ppl I know of have received cheques.
Another wonderful thing is the prizes they have to offer without the
user taking any pains. They have many interesting prizes for just using
the email without doing anything extra like participatin in contests
or writing slogans. The new look it has worn since the beginning of
October is really cool. Some interesting features have also been added.
I loved the idea of the community services. One notable feature of the
community site is the discussion group which has quite interesting
topics like a grieviance forum where you can speak about the drawbacks
of Indian society. Another hot group is the one on religion and
spirituality. The colours used on the site r pleasing to the eyes
though in a few places the site does appear shabby. Another area of
interest is the chequemail privileges where they have schemes to make
money from certain online activities.
All in all it seems to be a promising Indian site. It’s user base is
growing by an approx 1000 users a day if you go by the daily counter
on the home page.
