Cherai Beach Resort:
"DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY - horrible experience with rude people to
boot"
I was in India
for 2 months and staying at Cherai Beach
for the remainder of my honey moon was a BIG RUIN(HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE) to say
the least.
This is a trip we booked 4 months ahead.
We left 2 days earlier for this reason and we would have left even earlier
however, we would have lost the money ou get absolutely nothing for the bad
service, the racoon in the roof that kept us up every blessed night. The countless
ants . The cold coffee every morning. in the supposedly best bungalow. at
the resort Needless to say it the remainder of my honeymoon was a disaster.
You call and order something as simple as coffee and toast. They bring you cold
coffee, no sugar nor milk and a tea cup when there are two persons in the room.
The service person has to run back and forth.
We ate out all the time because the food was expensive and it was hot as hell
in the dinning room that had no seats available most of the time.
We tried swimming and the beach is extremely dirty and unkempt.
When we went to complain at the front desk, In front of us complaining, was a
gentleman from England
who had come down with 12 children and a few others. A huge family getaway that
proved a nightmarish experience.
The manager at the front desk was extremely rude and uncompromising. He ignored
us after saying there was nothing he could do. He could careless why? Because
lots of foreigners like us go down there thinking it is paradise. not knowing
you are in for a surprise.
The staff they had were all trainees doing internship for their hotel
management diploma. no supervisor to oversee their work. Why does Cherai
Beach resort do this? So they can
spend peanuts paying their employees.
We spoke to a room service gentleman who told us he had had not training from
the hotel and they put him to work immediately. He had been at the resort for 3
days.
Eveyone who plans on traveling to Kerala, Please DO NOT stay at Cherai Beach
Resorts. you will regret it
If you are used to good service and staff that truly cares that you have
something as simple as coffee and a manager that does not yell and then ignore
the clients. you will be on for the surprise of your life if you go to
Cherai Beach Resorts.
