I stayed at Cherai Beach resort during March/April 2011. This place is very ordinary and may seem bit over-priced at times, but overall feels okay.
Plus points: 1) Calm 2) Easy accessibility - 45 mins drive from Cohin airport
Minus points: 1) Lack of food choice (I was forced to eat expensive dinner buffet) 2) One of the days of my stay turned out to be the resort’s self-imposed dry day! 3) Water around and below the restaurant stinks.
