Well aveo is certainly a gud looker interiors are amazing just like higher priced cars. we brought this car 4 years back and choice was between fiesta and honda city the honda had a bit crampy interior with a little else horsepower engine and a bit hard steering the fiesta interior dint get to me and we booked the aveo black delivery came.
After 2 weeks and we were amazed at the car it was pretty smooth cudnt make out if the engine was on and had a powerful ac during the afternoons its not that great but does manage to keep the cabin cool at 1 and for rear passengers at 2. the cars usage as of today is 98790 kms and the engine seems to be a bit noisy it gives an average of 9-11 on 100% ac usage and around 420-460 kms on a full tank till it touches the empty mark the manual says its a 45 litre tank but at times I manage to put in 50 litres till the top. speed is used since we brought it although it doesn’t give pick up difference it just feels a bit smoother with an occasional use of octane booster.
Service center happens to be good just give them a call a day before and they take my car in for service if it gives problems in between just get it there and meet the service in charge guy and its done by noon at the earliest or evening though sometimes they overcharge for parts they never used.
list of problems I faced with the car headlights were dim got it changed wipers get changed every monsoon
26500 kms distributor was givin issues and car was givin a check light error and struggling to stay on, 32000 kms radiator had a big leak, 35000 car over heated fan connector melted new fan would cost 3000just fro a new connector so just connected it with crimps. 46000 gear began to slip and clutch plate changed 55000 waterpump leak and had them change timing belt when car was got back the ac began to ice up leak was found and ice formation circuit was spoilt , 62000 kms was ntoiced that cooalnt kept geting low and looked muddy and bubbles and coolant gushing out on racing head gasket changed for 45k, 70000 km timing belt snapped luckily no valves damaged, 82000 kms ac made weird noises and no cooling tuk it to an ac specialist was found compressor damaged no oil and metal fillings had 2 change condenser and compressor cost 21k , 91000 kms brakes werent working well changed them, 95000 kms starter issues. im nt sure if its because the car is used for 150 kms a day and recently a slight knocking / pinging noise heard. wont bother cause im due 2 buy a new car in a few mnths. car has never been reved voer 4500 rpms and never driven over 140. there are people who havent had much issues but then again its cause of the high usage maybe.me and my dad love this car.
if u maintain the car well and dont over look issues then the car will last you over 1 lakh kms if not then by 90k kms major engine probs
