I was in process of buying a pre owned car and as default my search and preference was limited to buying a Any Maruti and with least possibility a Hyundai Santro.
During this process checked many vehicles like Zen, Wagon R, Alto & Santro and finally a day had came when I almost decided to buy a 2003 santro and was supposed to go with my documents to the dealer to bring home that santro. Now shall I call it a co incident or fate that I relized that the value I am paying to the santro was much more than market value which made to abandon the car the same night and started online search for fresh vehicles on the same night.
Fortunately I found a Chevy Aveo Uva of 2007 model with good exteriors & interiors with single owner, now initially I was nnot sure to go for this car but after going through the reviews posted here I thought of giving a chance to check out this car.
So very next day I went and saw the vehicle and without even cranking the engine I fell in love with and after taking a trial run within a hour I agreed to buy this and paid the money and brought it home.
Now man don’t ask or compare this with any similar maruti or Hyundai cars, its a awesome car and pleasure to drive, And people may not believe initially I had to press the accelerator to know if the engine was running or shut.
Its a completely noise less engine & u will feel pin drop silence in the cabin. The space is more than any similar car, gear shifting is a ease, suspension is also good.
After driving this car I completely failed to understand why this car failed to succeed in India and people are compromising quality build cars with Maruti or Hyundai just looking at service support in process loosing the experience of pure driving pleasure offered by chevies.
So guy’s today you may not able to buy this car from a showroom but inn case anyone find a pre owned car pl go for it.
Now finally I am yet to get a clear data of Actual FE of my car and may require few more days to come with the FE, shall post the FE after few day’s.
