Problems with Optra Service Centers

I brought my Optra 1.6 fully loaded version in Sep 05 (TN 45 AB 0001). Since Trichy, my native place did not have a dealer at that time, I got the car from ARAS Motars, Madurai. A year back, Jeyaraj cars have taken the dealer ship in Trichy, Tamilnadu.


For the first one year, I did not have a single problem. Starting from the 2nd year, I have been running to the service station every month and even weeks. The service at Jeyaraj cars in the worst I have seen in my life. The service crew do not reply to your queries and mostly quarel among themselves. They also reply that the qualified personal is not available or the testing equipment is not available.


I would have gone for service due to my AC problem at least 5 to 6 times in a span of couple of months. They would say, the problem is solved, then in two weeks, AC again fails. Once they said, there was a leak, then they said there was a problem with power supply, then they said, problem with ECB, ultimately no one knows what the problem is and everytime I go, I shell out from few hundreds to few thousands.


The maintenance of cars is also very poor, after service, the car is not cleaned, even the dashboards are not fitted, the lining on the doors are not properly fixed, wires and selotapes are left inside the car itself...and on and on.


I loved the car so much during the initial years and just because of the service from Jeyaraj cars, I am driving my Maruthi most often.


Would Chevrolet do something about the service center here?
