I happened to test drive the Chevrolet SRV and found the car really impressive. The 1.6 litre petrol engine is the most responsive among all the competing models in the market with similar engine capacity. The accelaration of the car is just superb and if you are among those who love driving and do regular outstations then this is the car for you. The car is really well balanced and holds the road well thus making the ride highly comfortable. The car comes fitted with the regular cosmetic features like power windows, power steering etc. that one would expect from a car priced in the range of Rs.8 lacs. The only concern is that a typical Indian consumer would prefer a sedan to a hatch back when he’s spending that kind of money. The sporty looks of the car however are appealing. I cannot comment about the fuel efficiency of the car as I don’t actually own one. I was told by the dealer that the car gives a mileage of around 12 kms/litre in the city which I think is not too convincing considering the power in the engine.
