This is my first review of the Chevrolet Spark. I hope this will be useful for everyone. My sister bought the chevy spark in November. Since then I have driven the car in the city (Bangalore) for about 4000kms.... The gear transmission was never good. It always gave problems. at first I thought that it was because it was a new car, but it still continues.
Gears ususlly get stuck at the 1st or the reverse gears. Secondly I feel the A- Pillars of the car are bad..... It restricts a lot of the vision and its extremely difficult to navigate at times....... The AC literally swallows the power of the car and you will feel a very noticeable change in the pick up onec you turn on the AC even at the first dial...... I would not say that the power of the car is very good because I have struggled with it at times but it is a very smooth ride.... the suspension is fabulous and makes the ride extremely pleasurable..... Comfort wise the seats are not that comfortable..
The dash is also wayyyy to extended which cuts a lof of the vision for the driver..... The seats are also low which compliment the ptroblem of the vision....... The boot space is decent enough for a small hatchback...but the seats do not fold up completely...... A spring type thing restricts the seat to fold up completely on which begs the question of its durability./......Even though I have kept quite a bit of load on it at times, I doubt it can take it much longer........
Dealer satisfaction was nil...as they did not have even a single music system at hand to demonstrate ...thus we had to go without the system......also they took a hell lot of time to issue us teh RC book and we had to make quite a few trips to the dealers to get it.......
Also the power difference becomes very noticeable the moment you load up you boot with some luggage....the car nearly begs to get relieved off the load......the pick up at that moment is really really bad..
