I brought a Spark LS Model around 3.5 years ago. Based out of my experience I would like to state the pros and cons of this vehicle for the benefit of all:
Pros:
Build Quality is reasonable good.
Mileag is decent. In city conditions you get around 13.5 Km/liter with AC on for 50% of the time
AC is quite powerful. Even in hot scorching sun, the AC works wonderfully well
Handling of vehicle is smooth and it’s quite reliable
Cons:
Spare parts are quite costly as most of them are imported from Korea. You can be sure that maintenance cost would be higher as compared to a maruti vehicle.
Car needs maintanance and even for a new car there is always something or the other part fault for e.g. over the last three years the following parts had to be changed:
a. The front console cluster - done free of cost by company as it was during warranty
b. Rear brake cyclinder change
c. Front lamp(had to purchase one pair as I hadn’t got a spare set which is generally comes with all new cars)
d. Regular padding of rear console and hood for rear noise
e. You will be asked to do things like throttle body clean, tunning, etc. which would cost you money during each service
