I visited a Chevy dealer in Kolkata and was interested in buying the Chevy Spark. However according to the dealer, the 3 year warranty which is offered by the company only covers any manufacturing defects that may crop up.
It does not however cover any Service charge, oil change, filter change costs etc. which are part of regular maintenance/servicing for the first 3 years. He said that if I wanted to avail of this, I had to pay Rs.10, 000 extra.
Can someone throw light on this... as the company is marketing the 3 year Chevrolet Promise of free servicing and maintenance with much fanfare.
On the Car, its pretty good...my personal opinion its better than Maruti Esteem/WagonR. Pickup is very good with good AC. Gears are very smooth with very good handling ..very best in the class.
Booth space is quite less and I wonder how much you can go out for a trip in this car as there are only 4 service centres in Kolkata and practically none in the country side.
However for city driving its the best.
