Its good to part of GM family…I bought Spark LS last year in 2010.No doubt the car is excellent but very honest to all car users specially who like to drive long distances ……Car is very smooth ….very easy handling but the seats are ohhhhhhhhh…..i hope u can feel that pain in ur Hips if u are on a hard bench for more then 5 hours…..and other big issue is Mileage ..If any one says here or on any other web page that spark is giving millage more then 16kmpl then my Dear unknown friend they are making you fool…
IT gives 15 or 16 KMPL on highway at the economic speed on 55-60 …With out A/C. ( With Out A/C)
Most of other time it will give you average of 13Kmpl.
So after running my Car around 6000Km @4.75KM . I Got idea of brining my running cost down by using CNG in my car.
So I calculated all this things
1> 1> Chevorlet is giving warranty for three year or 100000Km….under which they will take care of all Major things Like engine, Suspensions but other are not under free maintenance cover.
2> 2>What are chances of having major problem with this two parts of car. My thought Suspensions. I thought 50% chances are there that I might get problem with it. And 5% chance of having bad luck with my engine.
3> 3>In any case if I have to bear cost of this two part how much it will cost me maximum 100000/-
4> 4>With the petrol running cost if I wait for 100000Km I will spend Rs.465000/-On Petrol bill.
5> 5>My annual running is 36000Km. with same cost it will be Rs.171000/-
6> 6>So I Got CNG kit in my car from a Dealer .Which I got in Rs.30000/-
7> Now my running cost is ( 1Kg CNG =18KM in City and 21Km on Highway ) Now my running cost is @1.75 KM
8> So what I am saving currently is Rs.3 @km ..
9> My annual saving Rs.3/- Per Km x 3000km(per month running ) x12(Months) x2 ( Remaining warranty period )=216000/-
10> As now im happy and from last 6 month I am not having any problem with my car. Now I use my car like a motor Bick .any where any time no fuel worry .
