The new chevrolet tavera is basically an suv with a very good mileage, space and reliability.
It has an 2.5l isuzu engine.In the previous models it had an ICML engine which proved it self
to be un reliable.Chevy has designed some of the best cars in the world but the tavera looks
similar to an isuzu crosswind.The chevy dealership(KLN) in chennai has proven itself to be the worst dealership in India.The salesmen there don’t know anything about the car, so you ask something about the car they’r answer to it will be ver vague this is about my personal experience with KLN. we had a small doubt, whether to go with the enjoy or tavera.Our useis mainly on highways and hill stations . The enjoy is under powered(1.3l) so its not capable for hill climbing.We asked the salesman before test driving the enjoy and he said "its a pocket rocket it can zip through any turns etc, we tested it we took to a bridge nearby the dealership it was struggling even with full stress on the gas pedal the car was too dull.
Tavera is good & cheap and it might the best suv for INDIAN roads.
