I had a test ride of UVA LS today. I felt the car really cool. I am really amazed that I was able to shift the gear to 3rd at a speed of less than 20 kmph, and yet there are virtually no vibrations or car hiccups. There are four persons in the car and A/C is on at that time. And I was able to switch directly to 5th at a speed of 40! I am really surprised that in some of the reviews they said pick up is low.
I suppose this car is perfect for a city traffic. I live in Hyderabad and I don’t think a matter of 10bhp doesn’t make any sense in the traffic. And as per the gear shift is concerned, I felt a little harder while moving to 2nd or 1st. Thats my personal feeling. But overall the car is very good. I am going for this car (LT Version) for swift for two reasons: a six or more month waiting time, and secondly: my parents did not like the bumpy looks and the side view of swift. I think people are giving more hype for Swift. My parents really liked the leg space at the back seat and they felt like they are sitting in a big car like honda city. And coming to boot space, it is very spacious. Car control is very great.
