I bought the 1.2 LS at the time of its launch and that time I was little afraid about the product but I bought it because of GM name, Car cost, looks and space it has.The only problem I saw is the pickup of the car which is not too good.
The car is giving me the milage of 14km/ltr and that too on A/c and same on non A/c. Suspension is superb, you can not imagine at how much speed you are going until you see the speedometer. A/c is very good.Steering is very smooth and adjustable. Overall its a good product and worth for money.
I drove it from Delhi to Ajmer and most of the time ran on 120 km/hr and found no trouble and was very c’fortable drive.
The main drawback of this car is the service, the service is worst. When you step into their workshop you feel like you are in a road side workshop, specially Gurgaon and Kolkata workshop, noone will come to attend you, you have to find them yourself, They dont have good procedure, lot of wastage of time.
I am satisfied with the car but not with the service, So if you are looking for a hatchback with good milage/looks/space and suspension and are able to handle the problem with GM service centres then its good for you to buy it. I was having Maruti earlier and I had good experience with their service, so I am comparing with the service Maruti provides and in that comparison GM service does not stand anywhere in my point of view.
