According to the trailer, I feel Deepika was indeed the right choice for the movie. And the mixture of Meghna Gulzar is adding icing on the cake.
I think I was thrilled to see the trailer. Few incidences in the trailer will make you shiver as to how a girl faced such a bad scenario in her life. I believe this movie will not be ordinary but will surely make a special place in your heart.
Chhapaak isn’t some extraordinary, eye-opening film with performances to go ga-ga over. But that takes nothing away from how well-made the film is for a subject like acid attack that deserves our attention. Everyone, from writer Atika Chohan to director Meghna Gulzar to the actors, Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey and others, play their parts well, thus delivering a film that makes a splash which should have some kind of a ripple effect.
The movie’s ending is not what you’d expect.
