Chicken Little

A movie such as this must be graded on its own merits, not on those of another film: simply because it’s unlike most other films.

The story, I thought to be very creative, I liked how they breathed new life into an old tale. "Chicken Little" is a great kid’s movie, one that parents won’t mind having to sit through, as they’re going to pick up just as much adult humor woven into the story as their children will elementary humor. The story bears a great moral and emphasizes family values and openness between parents and their children: something we could never use too much of, especially with our nation’s status quo.

The visuals were "outstanding", and once combined with the story make for a very memorable movie going experience. If you have children, even older children who are mature enough to admit they will enjoy the film, you should go to see "Chicken Little".

It’s not a great film, but as long as you take it on it’s own and not compare it with the best of the Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks it’s a pretty enjoyable cartoon.

It’s better than Madagascar or Ice Age.

It plays more like three episodes of a Nicktoon than a coherent feature length story but that’s not the worst thing in the world. Believe me, there are far worse family movies out there. I saw the trailers for several more before this one started.

Why does the world need both "Cheaper By the Dozen"(either 1 or 2) AND "His, Mine and Ours"? Why not combine them both into a movie called "Crap"?

And who asked for a Tim Allen remake of "The Shaggy Dog"? Yuck.

Trust me, Chicken Little is just fine.

Stand out voices include Garry Marshall, Joan Cusack and especially Adam West who absolutely kills at the end of the film.

The usually great Steve Zahn should be taken out back and slapped around by whoever it is that does the voice of Carl on Jimmy Neutron because he’s completely ripping him off. I don’t know how or why Disney let that one slip by because even my three year old noticed it.
