Chikmagalur district is located in Chikamagaluru district of Karnataka. It is located in the foothills of Mullayanagiri range, Chikkamgaluru is famous for its serene environment, lush green forests and tall mountains. It is also famous for coffee plantations and is known as’The Coffee Land" of Karnataka.
We had planned a 2 day trip to this place to just relax from the daily routine.We had booked a home stay as we had never stayed in a home stay. The people were really awesome and the room had beautiful view.
We also visited Mahatma Gandhi Park which has enough things to keep you occupied for 2-3 hours. It has telescopic view of the hills and many species of flora and fauna. It also has a green house with around 300 species.A must visit place if you want to take a break from your daily routine.
