This used to be a great restaurant once upon a time with value for money in terms of food.It was reasonably priced, the ambience was above average, the food was fairly good and the service was average.
I am afraid that’s no longer true. It’s still reasonably priced in comparison to its sister concern next door (golden orchid). The ambience is awful now with this glass panelled partition right near the door which looks like it’s straight out of a red light area. The food quality is bad to below average and the service is pathetic. They will serve you after ages, they will serve you the wrong things and they will even serve you stale stuff, especially seafood.
It was our favorite Chinese place till our last 2 visits. Never again will we visit the place even if we are paid for it. It deosn’t stand upto the mark for a restaurant in a locality like Bandra where there is such a profusion of choices
