This is not the best place to eat chinese!! First of all if you are hungry, you would not want to wait for a looong time before you were served. The place is too crowded and the food is ok. The price is in the mid-hi range and if three people were to eat, the bill could easily go upto 700-800 rupees depending on how hungry you get. This is just a ’name’ thing in Bandra.
If you are a Chinese Food addict like me, you would want to visit this new food joint by the name ’Stomach’ which is walking distance from China Gate. Well I agree its not decorated and all, but the food you get is amazing at 1/3rd of the price you would pay at China Gate. You could take your whole family of 7 in and not pay more than 500 rupees. Now the tradeoffs are the number of people who eat there everyday - the place is a little crowded so you might have to wait for a while before you find a seat on their plastic chairs :) But if you are in a rush, you can always take a parcel home.
If you are in Bandra, bunk China Gate and give ’Stomach’ a try.
