My first visit to Mohammed Ali Road and we waited nearly 40 minutes for a table inside the restaurant - makeshift tables outside where available at a waiting time of 10 minutes - this during the peak Ramzan period. But the way they handle the crowd is commendable. Everyone gets a table sooner or later, and the service is super fast.
We ordered some 3-4 kebabs, lamb chops, a genghis chicken gravy, tandoori rotis and we were full! The kebabs were good, especially the platter - good quantity. Seekh kebab the most famous and good too. The lamb chops was awesome, chicken gravy - not that great. Nobody is interested in the chicken there, I guess. But you will find some vegetarians here and there as well, asking for something in paneer. Didnt try it though.
And the prices! Unbelievable for Mumbai. Six of us stuffed ourselves full at about Rs.1700/-Cool place! But very crowded during Ramzan, mind yourself and your belongings on the street.
