Chinese Room -- This restaurant is situated in East Street off MG Road.
Ambience: It is a large dining hall. Not much of privacy can be expected.
Food: Food is really good and tastes good. I had the best barbeque chicken I ever had (though at times it tasted as if it was fried.). Do not expect the routine accompaniments like the pickled cabbage and carrots (which is a standard in most chinese/oriental restaurants) though, as I never got any.
Service: Service is good and prompt. You feel like leaving a tip. Staff are courteous and helpful.
Parking: If you are lucky, you will find parking space in front of the restaurant on the street. Otherwise, you may have to hunt for parking. The aged watchman is helpful to mind your car when you eat.
Reservations: I do not know if reservations are in, but when I went, I had to wait for 15 minutes before finding a place. While coming out also, I noticed a small que.
