This is not a review of the doctors at CMH who I believe are good, but of the administration. Took my wife to CMH for cough and wheezing. It was not a good experience -
If you are already registered as an outpatient but have not carried your hospital card, the reception is unable to trace you based on mobile number and name. Manipal and other hospitals are easily able to do this so something is obviously lacking in the CMH OPD software system.
We were sent to wait outside the wrong room - despite confirming twice that we have come to see a General Physician, reception sent us to Orthopaedic room where we wasted 20 minutes waiting till we realized that all the patients seem to have come with orthopaedic complaints!
Token number is provided on the receipt but does not seem to be properly followed so you have to keep checking to make sure others dont jump the queue and go in ahead of turn.
I believe CMH has good doctors but the overall experience can certainly be improved by putting in place some better administrative procedures.
