Being die hard fan of microblogging I was harping for exclusive micro bloging site for India, and with https://chittr.com launching their service in India it has fulfilled my dream:). I am not normal blogger who writes in length, where is the time for all these, but still I want my freinds/family to learn what I am upto by sending them micro blogs. I am not bothered where they are active on WEB, IM or mobile, I just the information to be conveyed to them in a reliable way.
There is a site loading time, no doubt since it’s flash, but one it’s loaded it rocks. It’s simple to use the services and registeration doesn’t bug you so much. Layout needs some improvement, but oveall usage is just like your working on desktop. I liked the way people can set their preferences to receive alerts and send them on WEB, IM and SMS.
In India people need to adopt micro bloging, and once they learn the benefit of this, there is no turning back for these guys. I was surprised to see the site is still in alpha, but already featured startupdunia https://startupdunia.com/category/mobile-india/.
I am expecting more in Beta, public and private groups will certainly enhance service usage, and also am expecting GUI changes. Thanks to people beyond this site who’s effort to introduce microbloging in India. Best of luck chittr, we are in full support for you.
