Many people may not agree with this, but if I were to describe CHL Appolo I would just say They loot every patient they get their hands on, we say good healthcare doesnt come cheap specially in a country like ours but in case of CHL Appolo it means far too much.
I am sharing my personal experience so people may benefit from my story, so here goes: -
One of my friends brother had his index finger sevearly cut and kind of ripped in a home accident, we lived near CHL appolo on MIG Colony so we decided to go in CHL Appolo for his treatment, Their doctors said the case is severe and the patients finger had to be fixed by operation( although the case wasnt so serious because he had his finger injured when a foldable bed accidently unfolded suddenly and damaged his finger - the only injury recieved was a rather a long cut which could be stitched), and the patient agreed so his finger had an operation which included cleaning the wound and stitching it and took an hour to complete and the charge of it was freaking ??, 000! .
We had heated agruements with the people about such a high charge of a simple stitching operation but they didnt listen and stubbornly mentiond that they wont discharge the patient unless the price is paid in full.
In this way he paid around ??, 000 for an injury that could be treated for nominal fees in government hospitals, such is the condition of CHL APPOLO and possibly many other private hospitals around the country who exploit helpless people to earn money, I hope our experience help you make better choice for the future and here I am listing some important points - from my experience - to make sure you dont get introuble in private hospitals
Always have a Second opinion from a trustworthy source or have many opinions as possible.
Be sure about the background and collect some info about the hospitals track record
Ask questions if something seems wrong.
Consult the estimated prices of treatment prior to the treatment and if the prices are unusual confront the hospital or consider some other hospital.
5 and the most important one is dont be afraid to ask them about the treatment because its your legal right and you cannot be denied that right in any way.
