’Chocolate’ a movie with with many twists and turns and a major surprise at the end.
Vivek Agnihotri’s multi-starrer directorial debut manages to keep audience hooked at starting but by climax the movie gets boring.
Krish (Anil Kapoor ), the famous lawyer in the London city fights the case of two suspected accused Pipi (Irfan Khan) and Sim (Tanushree Dutta ) in a major bank robbery case.
The story revolves round five people Rocker(Sunil Shetty), Pipi (Irfan Khan), Tubby (Arshad Warsi), Sim (Emraan Hashmi) and Sim (Tanushree Dutta).
All five belong to different profession but music brings them together and later they get into the clutches of underworld.
Sunil Shetty is shown as an obsessed lover who can go to any extend to get his love Sim. Whereas the Monsoon (Sushma Reddy) plays a reporter who actually breaks the news of Bank robbery. She just has garnishing role in the movie i.e. not much to show her acting talent.
As Krish goes deep into the investigation he becomes more confused and is not able to pin down the truth.
It is the story how the bank robbers keep confuse the famous lawyer and gets themselves out of the problem.
The movie has best of the camera work. After give music for ’Dhoom’ Pritam tried to bring back the same charm in this movie too. The music to an extent is youthful, energetic, young and peppy.
Overall the movie is good product of a debut director but more could have been done to give a proper shape to the story
