For starters, they only have kachori with kadi & tea and you have to make do with it till dinner time which starts at around 8 pm. You have to take a slot for dinner as there is a rush but if you have a late slot then there is only that much kachori you can have.
We came to know later that at a far end corner of the place there is a live chulha where ladies will feed you bajre ki roti with butter. However, they don’t have any sign as to if you are first timers like we were, you will miss it.
For the main course the usual suspects are there, dal bati, gatte ki sabji etc. however the food was cold and not flavourful. It wasn’t bad and much better than what you would get in main city but having travelled all the way it certainly is below expectations.
The saving grace are the malpuas which were lovely and hot.
