Hi All sharing my experience of Chokhi Dhani a well know place in Jaipur. I visited this place in 2011 with a group of friends . we were in a group of 6 and planned a long weekend trip to Jaipur in the month of November which was suppose to be a pleasant weather.
After a hectic journey of long 7 hours finally we reached to Jaipur as we were delayed due to some road construction on the highway.
We took a rest and next day we visited Amer fort and got to know about its history for almost 3 hours and finally int he evening we decided to visit chokhi dhani main attraction of Jaipur as I said it was in the month of November so even weather was pleasant in the evening at the entrance after purchasing a ticket of 6oors/person we were welcomed in a traditional way and after entering we saw a huge ground which was artificially decorated on a village theme, people dressed up in traditional clothes, dancers showcasing their traditional dance and singing skills, hand made toys and cultural products. best part was the authentic rajasthani food with a royal treatment with lot of ghee in every dish. Almost spent 4 to 5 hours entire evening with the rajasthani feeling and village touch. Best time spent over there.Even they have 5 star accommodation where in people can stay there and enjoy activities.
