Hi Tech or I gate Internet service providers are stupid people who have no sense of customer satisfaction or they are not sure what they are providing, thier prices increase every 2 to 3 months and they just dont care when thier servers are down and when they are working, the only reason they give is that thier servers are into some stupid upgradation hence they are keeping them off for sometime, worst is that they have common cable box which they hang it on the top most floor of your apartment and its so stupid that anybody can take out the cable wire and fix thier own. I had started with some 600 Rs and now they have increased to 850 RS CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, the only thing is that they have good speed and no downloading charges but, now if you download more than some 25 MB then your internet speed gets so down that you start crying.
Worst is when you log in you will always get the message as SORRY COULD NOT CONTACT THE SERVER, now forget of contacting the people because everytime you call they will tell you that they are sending some people and no body comes, and in the end you just have to wait, till today I am getting such problems and I just dont know why this thing happens, ok again worst is that you dont even know what is your I.P. Address because every time you have some problem the guy comes and changes the I.P. Address and then surprise it starts working again...
The only time I really loved the services were when some time ago they had started with FTP but users uploaded it with so many viruses that they had to eventually stop it.
Frankly speaking these internet service providers are s**t and they wont improve at all.....please dont go for it...I think atleast MTNL would be a much better option.
