I purchased a Ikon in 2005 from Chennai Ford. Right from the sales to their service, my past theree years experience has been horrible! During the sales, they did not even fill petrol when I went to take delivery of the car. They also did not explain to me why the milometer had already clocked 150 KM ina new car. Their service stinks. Even if you book and take your car on time, they make you wait at least 45 minutes. Once I had to wait 1 hour just to change my fog lamp bulbs.
They are not upfront about insurance claims also. I had claimed an insurance claim and took delivery of the car after paying the difference between the amount sanctioned by surveyor ann actual expenses. After a month I get a call from them that I have to pay some more money!
Based on my friends advise I have now changed to MPL ford. Hope MPL matches my expectations.
I have written to Ford regarding the bad service in Chennai Ford, but they also do not seem to care. My next car definetely WILL NOT BE A FORD!
