Frustrating after sales service for IFB Neptune

I have a IFB Neptune Dishwasher. It worked fine for 20 months and then it broke down. After that I have been having a frustrating experience dealing with the customer support here in Chennai to get it repaired while in warranty. I have been calling everyday without fail for past 2 months at their call centre number.


They assure me each day that a technician will be there that day!!! About 3 weeks back they had send a technician after my repeated calls day. When he came to place he had no idea why he was there!! He asked me what was it that needed repair!!! When I told him that it was dishwasher, he took a look at it and opened the machine...


Took out a panel and went away with it saying that it needed to be replaced!!! Next time another person came a replaced some part and said that the machine would work now. But it still isn’t working!


I keep calling the local IFB franchise in Chennai and they are simply not responding. They don’t even tell me what the problem is! There is no responsible person who can give me the proper answers! People who pick up the phone have no idea as to what the problem is.


Finally the IFB guys have fixed my Dishwasher and after 3 months I am able to use it again!!! It seems they had difficulty getting the parts replaced.
