We purchased a L.G. dishwasher a little over two years ago. I have had bad luck with it. It has error code displays that tell you what is wrong. A call to customer service explained that it had a problem with the motor. We replaced the motor and it still does not work. Repairmen are expensive and this was an expensive machine, however the cost of replacing it with a simpler lower cost machine is very tempting. I understand the circuit board will be next to go if that wasnt the real problem from the beginning. Of course, the problems start after the warranty runs out.
Other problems included having to run the dishes through twice because the soap was never released from the dispenser. Strange whirring noises emanated during the wash cycle. It takes a very long time to wash the dishes. The drying cycle did not get the dishes dry.
