Usb drive recognises usb but not read contents.so the functions which depend on usb like creating mp3, etc.of no use.u can look for another cheaper products which does not have usb port instead of this product. I dont think it has multidisc(only upto 2 plays) memory to play from where it has ended.however remote control and other playback function is good I like philips dvd player. Becose of most media formate supported by it and function simplicity.We can operate it very fastly. sony player not support vob. DAT, and without TV we cant operate player.Philips given very fast forword speed also.Philips also give volume control feature while u playing dvd in 5.1 sound.but other company player cant able to adjust multy speaker sound untill dvd in stop mode.philips is best. I using player since 1 year. No problem have been found.It didn’t play many of the CDs It is only compatible with mp3 but not with any mp4 devices which means no videos can be played by this dvd. Though it was my mistake that I didn’t saw the specification of this product and bought It
I wanted a dvd which can play everything. exellent product.every thing is there as I expected.good sound quality.if any one intend to purchase, with out any hasitation you can go forward. Only drawback I notice is there is no user manual with this.please provide this in future.Product is Good. If you having lower budget then it is cost effective and it is very compact. Player does not support too many formats. So If you are having too many expectations I suggest to increase budget and go for any other player. its USB supports only few format like VOB. I have to conver mp4 files in to vob format to play it through USB
