Medium-sized Microwave ovens are better!

When choosing a microwave oven, you have to remember certain things.

Most microwave ovens are designed to sit on a countertop.  Some medium-sized models are designed to be kept over the range.  Microwaves come in small, medium and large sizes.  The difference is the power produced, which generates the high-energy microwaves that do the cooking.  The higher the wattage, the more powerful the oven gets, which heats food more quickly.  You can see the difference, when you cook in large quantities.

Large- sized ovens (1.4 cubic feet or more) hold lots of food, but at the same time, they take up lots of space.  Mostly, they generate 1000 watts or more.  They have the most features.  They are also the most expensive type!

Medium-sized ovens can also hold lots of food, but are much less bulky. I think they offer the most value.  These models generally generate 800 to 1000 watts.  This size usually costs less than larger models.  Still, they have many features of the large- sized model.  They offer the best combination of price, cooking speed, and capacity.

Small-sized ovens are somewhat larger than toaster ovens.  They are compact, but may be too small for some dishes.  For basic chores like popping corn and warming beverages and leftovers, a small oven is fine!  It’s power is somewhere from 600 to 700 watts.  Price also will be comparatively lower than the other two sizes.  Consider a compact sized microwave oven, only if you are hard pressed for space or have modest needs.

Now you have to decide on your requirement of a good microwave oven, based on the space you have in your house and your financial condition.  Another tip, you can choose to buy when there is a discount.  But, be careful with the model you buy.  Go for a standard one!  Before buying, check if there is a good warranty on that.  Good luck!
