I bought a NOKIA C6-01 in spite of the declaration of Symbian’s death and embrace with Windows. The lure of a new Symbian and Nokia Black screen lured me. Alas.. I remain trapped. Having moved from a QWERTY Nokia E series, first thing is the weight of the phone, followed by the really painful typing. Worst is the response time of Contacts in spite of a faster processor.
The last nail in the coffin is the OVI sync. Apparently it has an issue with 64 bit Windows 7, and fails to recognize OUTLOOK.. which means I can’t sync.. :-(
This is an office phone and I need to update calendar everyday.. I made a complaint on 18th Feb, 3 days after I bought the phone.. and have struggled since. My IT department has also been unable to get a breakthrough. Worst of ALL, NOKIA has chosen to not revert, acknowledge or solve the problem.
So much for NOKIA.. Truly Kucch bhi No-Kia.
