I had recently purchased a Zenith Core Duo Processor Deskop with a 17" TFT monitor, However in the first week I noticed that there was greenish dot on the upper right hand corner of the screen. I informed the dealer and he replaced the monitor but now I had a similiar kind of dot on the left hand top of the screen. The Dealer later informed me that is absolutely fine to have 2-3 dots on the screen . However I was not convinced and I called the customer service number of Zenith Customer Number and lodge a complain. I waited for around 1 week with no response I called again and this time the representative gave me the number of the head of customer service I spoke with him and told me that it is a manufacturing fault and nothing can be done. It is absolutely fine to have uptil 5 dots on the screen.
I am just wondering if 1 dot is so distracting than what about 5 of them I might file a case in consumer court as well because if this is the case then customer’s should be intimated about it at the time of purchase as it TFT screen are quite costly.
But the best I can do for now is post this review so that atleast if someone is thinking of getting one please have a second thought about it.
