Which Sound System to go for ...

Title : Which Sound System is good

Review : There are lot of sound systems available in the market today, SOund systems or Music System can be classifieds in various forms and Norms.

Typically of which are 1. stereo sound normal with 2 speakers 2. Dolby prologic, dolby digital, 6.1 channel or the latest 7.1 channel sound in DVD movies Normal stereo sound is that comes with 2 speakers one left and one right channel speaker.

It has a 2 channel sepration where sound will be heard by the listener from the lft and right stereo and one can make out the sepration and difference in sound.

Dobly is a sound format that was famous couple of years ago, and has develpoed over the years. it has evolved starting from prologic , to 5.1 then 6.1 and 7.1. Just in case you are wondering whats the 5.1 , 6.1 etc etc. These are the sound formats, for movies ... in a typical 5.1 set up, you will have the centre speaker , the left and right and 2 rear speakers, plus one active woofer, that makes it 5.1.

The rear channel speakers are the one that are behind the listeners and give sounds from the rear. as the technology advanced to 6.1 and now the latest 7.1 which is also known as dolby digital, the rear channels speakers also produce stero sound and with excellent sepration., in 7.1 u have 3 speakers int he rear all giving excellent clarity and sepration of sound, so when ur watching a dolby didgtal dvd 6.1 encoded u will get sound depending upon where the charachter is moving in the movie and it gives a real theatre like experience. What to go for if u are planning to go for a new audio set up.....

For people who are into audio stuff and sounds and people who have good knowlege of the sound technology and designs, it matters a lot as to what they buy , what brand, make, type kind and cost. For any tom dick or harry, who just wants to listen to music not a movie buff, any of the low end or micro systems will do, which are also known as compact systems these are easily identifiable, as everythngs is built in one box, all the players are attached together, like cassate, cd, fm into one single unit, these systems are good for use in a shorter run , which come with Ok sound quality.

For music lovers , who want high quality and good output of music, the ideal would be a high end music system, in which all components come seprately, It is also known as a rack system, Here u have to purchase each item seprately, the cost is on the higher side, but u get optimum sound quality and performance , for a longer life span more than any mini or compact system can offer.

u can buy items in one go, or slowly add up items with passing time. intially , u can go for a good dvd mp3 player like sony, samsung, Lg, philips, plenty are available, . a good amplifier, depeing on what speakers u are planning to buy. Amplifiers can be of 2 kinds, a normal stereo amplifier , or a dolby 5.1, or the latest dolby digital 7.1.

Most new dvds are coming in the 6.1 format, so thats not a bad option to go for, as 7.1 amplifiers are expensive, depending on what amplifiers u choose, u can go for speakers set up, for stereo u can go for any good pair of speakers, there are ample good brands available out there like, JBL, Jamo, Yamaha, Bose, depending upon ur budget Ensure that the amplifier and speakers should have matching impedance and power rating of speakers should be high to handle power load, if ur going for a dolby 6.1 , then accroding u will need to buy more speakers, depending upon what setup u go for .

Normally a home theatre set up would have 2 main speakers, one pair rear speakers, , one centre channel, and one subwoofer. Before buying any audio system, just sit back and give a thought, as to what ur usage will be, what type of music u listen to, r u amovie buff, or just a simple and light listner, accordingly make the decision... If u need any advice ur welcome to message me regarding the same .....
