I brought a ifb washing machine 7kg digital in 2005 . Since day one we had a issue of clothes not being washed, yellow stains appearing on the clothes.on complaining the technicians came took the washing machine away for checking. They gave us a replacement model of 6kg digital till the problem was rectified.
The 7kg washing m/c has not been delivered to my house and as of today 10th september 2012, iam still using the replacement 6kg( which was a demo m/c) washing m/c. Correspondence and telephone calls have not helped as this company is shameless . To add to the woes their services are also very poor. They have outsourced their maintenance services to global services(in chembur pestom sagar) who do not have proper skilled technicians . As of day of my writing this review, my washing m/c is not working for the past 25 days . They are not able to rectify the same . Above that each time a new technician comes and identifies a new problem .and talks of materials which needs replacement the materials when they arrive after 6 days the technician is still yet to come to start the washing m/c.
My advice to everybody is that do not buy ifb washing machine for the following reasons
1) product quality is very poor .
2) the services especially the response time is very poor
3) the technicians are not skilled .
4) there is no after sales service follow up .
