In semiautomatic ones one had to drain and fill the water for subsequent cycles .Then again the clothes needs to dried in drier which is separate from washer .So semi automatic machine requires more time and effort then the automatic ones .I have been using Godrej Top load Semi automatic Machine past 15 years, Its working fine .it can take load up to 5 kg.
We had purchased it at a price of Rs 6500 /- and I am satisfied with it, never thought of buying a new one though many people suggested me to take a fully automatic one .
The top loading washing machines are better than front loading washing machine as one can add more clothes in between wash cycle in top loadding one which is not possible in front loading washing machines.So choose a good washing machine from a reputed brand according to your family need.
