I would reckon Wash Quality to be the most important of all to look for in a washing machine because what’s the use convenience etc if it can’t clean the cloths properly. Problem with deciding on wash quality of the product is that either we have to rely on Companies claim or we need to find someone with actual experience of washing with the machine. Generally all washing machines come with fair wash quality but machine with enhanced technology for washing (like rolling drums, heaters). Automatic feature is sensational because we don’t have to worry about the process involved in washing like washing, drying etc. Once the program is set we can go anywhere, do anything without worrying about the washing.

Apart from that, smaller the machine better it looks. All top loading machines occupy lesser space than front-loading machines. On the other hand top loading machines come on wheels. So once the washing is done we can move it anywhere in the house and park wherever is convenient. Thus Convenience is also an important aspect to consider before purchasing.
Water Consumption is an important feature to consider in India. Many areas have a limited water supply. The logical equation is that, more the water supply, better is the wash quality. There is no alternative to that. Still some washing machines consume amazingly less water. Front loading machine takes relatively greater amount of water. After all these considerations I would suggest top loading machine for average house with small families.
Finally about the cost of the machines. Front-loading machines are prized high than other machines but the wash quality is also better with them. A good washing machine would cost in between 10000-15000 Rs. The points I’ve discussed are the main to consider and think over before making the decision of buying.
