SAMSUNG PRODUCT MODEL NO. WA78K1/XTL. This is to inform you that I needed to replace only the adapter from the tap as the same was damaged while cleaning the tap. I had contacted their local service centre to replace the same.
They informed me that Samsung does not replace just the adapter but the whole WATER SUPPLY HOSE along with it for the cost of Rs.450/-. I would like to mention here that my WATER SUPPLY HOSE is in perfect condition and needs no replacement just for the sake of adaptor.
I have also found out that other branded washing machine company do have provision to supply/replace their adaptor only at a nominal charge without selling a package along with WATER SUPPLY HOSE for a higher premium like Samsung is selling.
I am really disappointed with the type of service rendered for this particular product(washing machine) after being a customer for many of SAMSUNG’S other home appliances product, viz-a-viz, air-conditioner, micro oven, monitors, etc. I now think I have made the biggest mistake in choosing this product and I did not expect the poor uncoperative type of after sales customer service from Samsung. I have no intention to buy any further products from Samsung if this is way they deal with after sales service for a small defect to make a premium out of it.
