Got a marc water heater last year during winter for 5000/- It was sold with the promise of excellent customer support and cheap spare parts.
3 months ago, the element got sorted and sent electric shocks to anyone who opened up the tap. And the heater had to be removed. The customer support was unreachable. Finally I sent a mail to all email-ids I found on its site marcindia.biz/contact-us.htm and got someone to replace the element for 500/-
Now a month ago, something started burning inside the geaser and it gave terrible smell. Again after mailing etc, the person came and told me that the thermostat is gone, because of a leak in the water tank. So I need to spend another 1500/- to fix it.
Imagine spending 2000/- on a geaser bought for 5000/- every year. The people here are very unprofessional. Beware.
