As my Review, "Weight management- Do it yourself" got a good review, I decided to give furthermore GYAN about weight loss and other healthy life style tips. Here are some, You can note down if you like them!
DO’S AND DON’TS - For Weight Reduction
Must Do-
· Small Regular Meals.(In a day, have 5 small meals & not 3 heavy ones)
· Consume 8 to 10 glasses of water. (Fill 3 bottles and make sure you finish them by the end of the day.)
· Eating Fresh Fruits & Veggies in the form of salads. (cut cucumber, carrots, beet, onion & tomatoes. Have it during lunch and dinner)
· Substitute white bread with Brown Bread & Maida with Whole Wheat flour. (They are rich in fibre and provide less calories)
· Minimal Oil, Butter, Cheese, Curd usage (Use them as little as possible, as they give a lot of unwanted calories)
· Reducing Sugar consumption( In tea/coffee use as little as possible)
· Have only 2-3 cups of Coffee or Tea a day(They have sugar & milk, both are rich providers of calories)
Nice To Do-
· Have warm water after every meal.( This aids in digestion)
· Switch to Skim Milk.( They have less fat but same amount of protein like a normal milk)
· Have clear soup before every meal( Soup provides very less calories but still makes you feel full)
· Add melons- Musk melons, Cucumber, Watermelon to your diet( good source of fibre)
· Have 100% Fruits & Vegetable juicesor coconut water as beverage substitutes( these dont have added sugar, hence lesser calories)
· Add Soya Flour to the Atta, for makingChapathis( Soya aids in weight loss)
· Have one glass of Butter milk with ginger after a heavy meal.
· Have atleast one cup of Green Tea everyday( Good source of antioxidants)
Donts-
· Avoid Fasting or Feasting
· Avoid Fried Foods & bakery products-Samosa, Burger, Pakoras
· Avoid Sweets & Confectionery
· Avoid Fruit juices & Milk Shakes
· Avoid Late dinners & skipping Breakfasts
